Maison Vir Ven products are Responsible Jewellry Council compliant. We work with manufactures that  are RJC and JBT certified.

We work exclusively with 5 species of precious corals that are not at risk of extinction: the red coral of  the Mediterranean or Corallium rubrum, and the japonicum, elatius, secundum, konjoi corals of the  Pacific Ocean. 

These species are deep sea corals and are totally distinguished from the tropical reef madrepores or  shallow-water coral reefs, which are friable, not workable and their trade is not allowed . 

Ultimately, all the corals used in our artisanal and non-polluting processing are deep-sea corals, are not  at risk of extinction and should not be confused with the Coral reefs.
